This image was created in Adobe Illustrator and inspired by D&D (Dungeons and Dragons). Specifically a character that I played, a dwarf named Gordalon. The most detailed part of the image are the gauntlets as an image of real gauntlets were used as a reference. The image clashes between the use of shading in the gauntlets vs the cut-and-paste look of the face and fire. The gauntlets purposely have more detail as they are an important part of the character in D&D and it so it called for more of a standing in the illustration.
